Airport transfers across two weeks
A Lake District Corporate Event
A prominent hotel in the Lake District required more than 60 airport transfers for a corporate event. We liaised directly with the corporate client's bookers and EAs over the two-week programme.

For a forthcoming Yorkshire retreat, a Scandinavian company is coordinating guests arriving from overseas and within the UK. A chauffeur journey from London was proving expensive for their budget.
We recommended travelling by train to Leeds, followed by a shorter chauffeur collection to the retreat. The planned group movements use two Mercedes V-Class vehicles around the passenger and luggage requirements.

What do you need to prepare a quotation?
Dates, collection times and locations, destinations, passenger numbers, luggage, preferred vehicles and any stops. For an event, include the programme, separate movements, flight or train details and any budget or service requirements.
Can you coordinate several vehicles and arrivals?
Yes. We assess individual movements alongside the overall programme, including simultaneous vehicles and passengers travelling together. Allocation and availability are confirmed through the proposal.
Can you recommend departure and collection times?
Yes. Flight and train details help us recommend timings based on the route, expected traffic and suitable buffers. The final itinerary is agreed with the booker.
Should we choose transfers or retained hire?
Transfers suit defined point-to-point journeys. Retained hire can suit several stops, standby and changing timings. We explain the arrangement, service hours and cost against your programme.
What happens if a flight or meeting is delayed?
We assess the revised timing against the chauffeur schedule and available alternatives. Airport collections include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting from the selected collection time. Further waiting or changes may incur charges under the agreed terms.
Can we request the same chauffeur?
You can share a preference. We try to accommodate requests where operationally possible, although a particular chauffeur is not guaranteed.
Do you offer corporate accounts and invoicing?
Approved regular clients can discuss account facilities and invoices on an agreed timescale. Other bookings use the payment arrangements stated in the proposal, with secure card arrangements through Stripe.
What will the proposal cover?
The proposed vehicle arrangement, journey scope or service hours and charges. Mileage, waiting, parking, airport fees, tolls, VAT and additional requirements are addressed according to the booking.
